The Flicker World Tour Experience

After a year since One Direction took their 18 months rest, everyone of them decided to try something as solo. It was 2017, Niall Horan and Harry Styles released their first solo albums almost at the same time, and a few weeks later, their world tours schedule. I wanted to go to both of their dates here in Chile, specially Harry´s, but for reasons of the sale success and at the same time that the producer didn´t want to add another date, I couldn´t go.

Anyway, I got tickets to Niall´s concert and that rainy afternoon was one of the best ones of my life. With a friend we went to Movistar Arena on July 4th from last year after school. It was a very emotive concert because of the topic of the album. "Flicker" talks about the flicker of hope we want to keep of our past feelings specially those ones that show us the best feelings of past relationships. Some parts of the concert were very emotional in that sense, and Niall even apologized about that, but there was his feelings and it was special that he decided to show us what he felt.

There was emotional happy feelings too. He sang two songs from One Direction´albums, and also made two coverts from Bruce Springsteen and Camila Cabello songs. Also he shared a moment on the stage with his special guest Maren Morris. They complement very well singing Seeing Blind, and Maren´s solo presentation at the start of the night it was something of the things that I enjoyed the most, because I like her music a lot.

July 4th was a very nice day, and if sometime I had the opportunity to repeat it I would like to do it, or maybe try to go to Niall´s concert if he decides to come to Chile when he releases this year or in 2020 his new album.

The movie or the book?

"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one".- Jojen Reed This is one of my favorite quotes in all the books I have read in my life. But I think that apply for books too. For me it´s difficult to choose between books and movies, because I like both, a lot. Like Jojen Reed said one could live a thousand lives through them, and it´s good like one could scape for a little time to the reality because of being reading or watching a movie. Until a few years ago, I always think that books are far better than books. I think it today too, but no so deeply like I did before, because a romance book and it respective movie appear at the same time in my life, and if I have to point both since 1 to 10, they would severally take a 5 and a 100.
